Odisha moves forward with a powerful push toward industrial development, approving 19 new investment projects valued at over Rs 38.9 billion. Cleared during the 136th meeting of the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA), this milestone signals a vibrant chapter of progress in the textile and logistics sectors across the state.
Spanning 11 districts—Angul, Balasore, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Khordha, Koraput, Sambalpur, and Sundargarh—the approved proposals reflect a strategic distribution of growth. From fabric to freight, each district will play a role in building a modern and employment-rich future.
Khordha district, known for its rising industrial profile, will see notable investments. Shree Sidhi Vinayak Texcolours prepares to set up a yarn dyeing and knitted fabric processing unit with a commitment of $11.85 million. Alongside this, Vasanth Vihar Constructions (India) aims to build a full-scale logistics park, infusing nearly $15.91 million into the local economy.
The projects, collectively, are expected to generate over 7,400 fresh job opportunities. With Odisha’s focus on inclusive industrial development, this decision brings prospects not only for investors but also for communities across urban and semi-urban landscapes.
Chaired by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, the SLSWCA meeting concluded with a vision to energize both traditional strengths and emerging sectors. As textile clusters expand and logistics hubs multiply, Odisha positions itself as a magnet for forward-looking enterprises.
Each project reflects Odisha’s long-term intent to create infrastructure that supports manufacturing excellence and supply chain efficiency. With momentum on its side, the state steps confidently into a future shaped by investment, innovation, and inclusive growth.
